These shots have all been taken within the past 3 months, as I have been experimenting taking pictures of something other than people. Once I discovered the sunset setting on my little camera, I got some great shots of Lake Tahoe in California. The second shot has some interesting lighting taken the same evening as the first, across the East side of the lake. Shot 3 was taken on BYU-Idaho campus during my Visual Media class. The Seed House I thought turned out well, it was a little before sundown in February, and I liked the blue tone of the picture. Finally, the last photos were taken outside of the Spori using spot metering. No flash on any of these photos, and only the last one was cropped.

  1. I really love all of your photos. It seems to be that you have a theme through them all...outdoor and distressed. The colors and balance of the levels looks great!I especially love your last two photographs. They definitely show your talent and what you are capable of photographing. Way to go!

  3. Sarah your pictures are all great! I really like the bolt picture, and how you used both focuses. Its a nice angle, and its not a photo just anyone would think to take! Very artist!

  4. You know the rule of thirds so well, something that I need to focus on more. You have a great photo of the dried flower it demonstrates great bocca. Can't wait for what you do the rest of the semester.
